Thinking it was immodest, I was not willing to say yes and even thought other children were tiny harlots.
After telling mom what I should wear in the dancing class, my mom took me to buy what I needed. She also reminded me that I kept the clothes in my own room. I knew what she meant. One day mom invited dad to attend one performance I would give on weekends. Afraid that dad would be angry, she didn’t tell him it’s about dance until insisted asking.
